EFI Chameleon "can't find mach_kernel"
« on: November 20, 2009, 12:58:09 PM »
Ok, so I know this has been mentioned before but I have not found a solution to my problem...
I have installed Chameleon RC3 to my EFI partition and it boots up but then halts and gives the "can't find mach_kernel" error, I am trying to install Leopard from CD/USB drive (I have both) but I am struggling to set the correct drive - if indeed that it my problem.

I used linux/parted magic boot to set it all up and gives my EFI as /dev/hda1 so I presume this would need to be disk0s1 in the com.apple.Boot.plist or rather disk1s0 for the DVD (or hd(1,0) )? This is confusing me somewhat becuase linux displays the drive/partitions differently to the Mac terminal.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
