[FIXED] Grey screen of death
« on: April 12, 2009, 03:02:23 PM »
Hi,

Wanted to try this out on my MSI Wind U100 with a sentelic touchpad.
Installed a "normal" install, rebooted, and now it gives me a grey screen of death.

I'm no mac-guy and my knowledge of osx is limited. How can I remove the installed files?
Should I use the install-cd or is there some other way?

This is what I've done so far:
Started OSX in single user mode and saw some error-messages.

2-3 goes away to fast to read, but the ones I can see says:

Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Controller
Class "ApplePS2Controller" is duplicate
Duplicate class
kmod_control/start failed for com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Controller ; destroying kmod
Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Keyboard

Thanks.

EDIT:

Tried to read what the first error lines said while it scrolled by and it said something about IRQ.

Booted into verbose mode now, and now OSX started. Gonna try to remove VoodooPS2Controller now.

After a few hour testing and reading, I found out that my problem was the same as others also have had, conflicting drivers. Removed everything key/touch-pad related, and now it works (or so I think...).

Thanks anyway! :)
