Does not detect 'tap to click' on dock
« on: April 12, 2009, 03:22:36 PM »
If I am using 'tap for click' with dragging set to on, taps do not register on the dock, they seem to register as long clicks or maybe right clicks (opens menu for item rather than item).

This occurs even if I have 'two finger clicks for secondary button' set to off.

Every where else tapping seems to work fine.

Hi,
Has this problem been resolved yet?  If not-what could be causing it?
I have the exact same problem here on an ideneb 10.5.5 install.
I'm thinking about changing the way I use dragging just so I can have two finger scroll for now.
Cheers,
Benos.

Hey guys I found a way to fix this shit!!!

All you need:

Trackpad plugin installed, then you have to go to systempreferences-trackpad and the speed of double clic, you have to put it at max.

that resolved the problem for me.

yes that fixes the issue but then its really hard to double click!!! you have to double click really fast for a folder to open!!! if the voodoo team fixes this issue i would be greatly appreciative.

Edit: found something interesting tapping works fine while dragging is disabled!! when enabled double tapping behaves weird!!!
