[Theme] Black iMac ALL RESOLUTIONS
« on: December 02, 2009, 08:37:13 PM »
Hello Everyone, I was bored and had to do a project for school and thought this would satisfy the requirements of my assignment.

I have made a theme from Black OS X's AWESOME theme Big Screen mk II and made it into an iMac Theme:

DOWNLOAD FROM MY SITE :) !!!

Download and extract your resolution, (it should work for all resolutions, but I made it firstly for my hp mini 311 netbook and then resized everything from that so higher resolutions may not look as good... SORRY! Maybe next time I will start off big and resize accordingly) -post if it doesn't work for your resolution

To install, (depending on your setup) open terminal and type:
Code: [Select]
sudo -s
sudo mkdir /Volumes/EFI
sudo mount_hfs /dev/disk0s1 /Volumes/EFI

Then copy and replace the files to your current theme directory with the ones from the theme (make a backup of the old files if you want to go back later)

then type:
Code: [Select]
sudo umount -f /Volumes/EFI
sudo rm -rf /Volumes/EFI
sudo fsck_hfs /dev/disk0s1
reboot

True.
And you will have made Windows04 happy, as he did put in a request in the original theme thread for exactly what you have done :)

Wow. Not to be mean but..

You did nearly every resolution but 1280x1024. Do you mind resizing and then uploading for my 1280x1024 resolution? (I'll also be needing ALL of the devices resized for my resolution).

thanks!
