When a mouse is untouched during bios boot everything is fine.
But when I just make a move or click, then I can't choose OS in Chameleon. There is no reaction even I press Enter or arrow keys.
I try it several times - always with the same result.
Does anyone had this issue?
MoBo: ASUS P5B-V (USB Legacy: Enabled)
Keyboard: Apple Alu USB (MB110PL/A)
Mouse: Logitech OEM USB

Did you try w/ USB Legacy:Auto ?
How does your com.apple.Boot.plist look like?
-
Legacy haven't changed anything.
My boot.plist:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1200x32</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>3</string>
<key>Theme</key>
<string>Mac</string>
<key>Instant Menu</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

may be a broken theme, try
<key>Theme</key>
<string>Default</string>
just make sure that Default theme is inside your Themes folder

Oh, I didn't see this topic before, but I have the same issue with an ASUS P5KPL-CM and USB mouse/keyboard. I notice the problem also affects the efiboot v6.1 detailed in munky's guide (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=127330). I'm using the default theme, and of course efiboot v6.1 has no themes. I'm on asus p5kpl-cm.

So I'm not alone :)
Theme changing haven't help with that problem. And I can't see any sensible reason it should.
Your MoBo has different chipsets so it's rather not hardware problem. If was then I thing it would be a more common problem.
But both are Asus so I supose both uses similar Bios (Ami bios)... so mayby it causes that issue.

I've check out this on other hackintosh - Laptop with similar config (Toshiba Sat.L40 with GM965 ICH8M) with connected the same USB kbd & mouse. And there is no such issue :(
Only difference is that it's not retail but iPC - cause HDD is MBR type. But there are same essentials/Intel legacy kexts i Extra, even same theme ;)
Maybe problem is with Bios? Maybe there is someone with more knowlege in thi subject?
