Title: Help with Triple Boot Setup
Post by: jimmayhugh on November 19, 2010, 05:11:21 PM
Noob here...

I've got my system setup with Snow Leopard on SATA drive 0, Win 7 Ultimate on SATA Drive 1, and have installed Fedora 13 on SATA Drive 2. I used tonymacx86's iBoot+MultiBeast to initially install the Snow Leopard, and Win 7 installed without a hitch.

After I installed Fedora 13 on SATA Drive 2, I could see the partition in the Chameleon boot screen, but any attempt to boot into it results in a blank screen with a blinking cursor at the upper left corner. The Fedora disk is partitioned as a 5gb ext4 /boot partition, 10gb swap, and the remainder of the drive is partitioned as EXT4 / . I also made sure that the MBR was not used.

I can boot to Fedora selecting it as the initial boot disk in my BIOS, but not from Chameleon, even though the Linux Penguin shows up in the boot screen.

Following is my com.Apple.Boot.plist:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
   <key>Kernel</key>
   <string>mach_kernel</string>
   <key>Kernel Flags</key>
   <string>arch=i386</string>
   <key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
   <string>Yes</string>
   <key>Timeout</key>
   <string>10</string>
   <key>Legacy Logo</key>
   <string>Yes</string>
   <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
   <string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

I posted this at the tonymacx86 forum with no replies, so I thought I'd try here.

Any help available??

I have found it best to make sure it is on a primary partition.
