Mactico, You caught me on a good day and requested a theme based on the I'm a Mac ads. Well I have made this for you (and anyone else who wants it). It's very basic, and only has two devices , HFS+ and NTFS, but I hope it's what you had in mind.
It's at 1680x1050 native resolution.
Note: I am not in the habit of taking requests as I create these themes only when I can find spare time. That's why I put together the creating themes guide to help others make their own. In this case, Mactico just got lucky :)
NEW - There is now a Linux graphic for this theme! Just add this in place of the blank graphic supplied with the main theme.
UPDATE: Raditude has posted a new penguin graphic for the device ext3 - Click Here (http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,451.msg7384.html#msg7384)

You are a very gentle, with great design capabilities. thank you very much.

I took some time to adjust the size to 1024x600.

Well done, did you use my Resizing Themes Guide?
And have you now got it as you want it?
-
Exactly what I imagined.
Yes, I always use your Resizing Themes Guide, plus adjusted some settings in the theme.plist file.
-
Blackosx, I love the idea. Pretty funny, no you just have to find icons for the rest.

This was just a bit of fun for Mactico. Maybe one day I will add extra icons, or maybe you or someone else would like to fill in the blanks......?

Hi macguru
I will help you with this, but can you wait until hopefully tomorrow when I get a little time?
-
thanks
i can't wait.....
i have 4 OS : leopard , xp, windows 7, linux
i understand that there's only 3 items....
-
i had another post in the - Theme: Blackosx_Big_Screen - Different Resolution Graphics
both of them are amazing
but i want to make a photo for linux
so like i said i can't wait
-
@ Macguru
I have used my Resizing Themes guide for you here by resizing the device graphics by 45.7%. Attached you will find the required files for 640x480 resolution. Replace the files in the main theme with these.

i understand that there's only 3 items....
You will now see 4 devices, with the same image for XP and Windows 7.
Finally, for the Blackosx_Big_Screen theme
Download the 1024x768 one and then use the Resizing Themes guide by resizing the device graphics by 62.5%
That theme has graphics for all the devices.

I don't know if that's possible as Chameleon put NTFS on my Windows partition too when I had one. All I can suggest is you create a smaller sized font. It's very easy now, thanks to Cizko and his FontMaker, see here http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,510.0.html.
All you will need to do is select the font style you like, select a size and a colour, then click Make Font button. Then rename the file to 'font_small.png' and replace the one currently in the theme. Try using 10pt for a starting size to see how that fits.
-
o.k thanks i will try it
-
it's so funny
-
good day to you
i am new in this and i love this theme
i downloaded the 640X480 for my mini laptop
but i must say that the resolution is not good like the original
is there a way to fix this?
how do i know in which size to use or make?
-
Hi ellale20
Welcome to Chameleon and it's capability of themes :)
I only ever made one size for this theme as it was a quick knock together, and I could only use images sourced from google which weren't the best quality. But have a read of the resizing themes post http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,237.0.html which will direct you in making is fit your resolution. It's easy really, just download the iResizer app, calculate the required percentage to resize the original images to and resize ONLY the images listed.
-
funniest theme i saw
-
I took some time to adjust the size to 1024x600.
hi can you please post the download link for your 1024x600 version? i have an msi wind netbook so this i think is compatible. We should have a netbook category here for themes mostly on that resolution. thanks

I found someone in a penguin costume to represent Tux the Linux Penguin. I cut it out and shrunk it to match the other characters.
-
Nice addition Raditude.
I've added a link to this on the first post ;D
-
way cool.
-
Hi guys and girls.
just wanted to add 2 new PNGs for the Windows and Mac osx boot logos.
Enjoy.

For Linux, why don't you use a picture of the 'Linux girl' from the Novell spoof ads?
