Moderator Edit: Thanks to Blackosx amazing guides, you'll find anything you want about resizing themes in his thread: Resizing Themes (http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,237.0.html)
-
edit the plist in the theme folder.
-
this do not change my resolution , when i go to the ghraphic info i see some resolution AAA x BBB i test them all
but no way i alway have a screen with 4:3 format !

Edit both screen width and screen height + boot width and boot height.

Best thing to do is take a widescreen image you like, and use Preview.app to resize it to a VESA resolution (such as 1024x768). When the image stretches, it will look right.
-
Set your video mode in com.apple.Boot.plist if it is supported by your video card (must be VESA 3.0 compatible for widescreen resolutions)
I think you're out of luck with any Intel graphics though. The stretch method is best for you.
