Title: Theme - Rollover device image?
Post by: Blackosx on April 21, 2009, 09:38:43 PM
I know functionality comes before looks but how about an option to have a different image displayed for a device if highlighted. So for example, have mono device images but have them change to colour when highlighted with the device selector.

Would this be possible?

I think this may be possible, but don't quote me on it.  I'm using the chameleon graphite 1.2.2 theme right now, and whenever i have a drive highlighted, the mock light on the front of the drive lights up.  This should mean that you can expand on this, but not sure.

Well spotted, it's clever and that works in the same way as the Bullet theme by leaving a hole in the device images and have colour in the device selector (which gets positioned behind the device) and shows through the hole in the devices. But this doesn't actually change the device image to another one. :)
