Title: Graphics switching for dual graphics systems
Post by: merv on February 08, 2012, 05:53:23 AM
Graphics switching for dual graphics systems!
Many users have dual graphics systems where default GPU is unsupported by OSX (mine is unlucky Intel 0x0046 + ATI 5650) and BIOS don't have an option to force second CPU usage. Code can be taken from Linux project "vga_switcheroo".

Switcheroo is useless for this purpose because of architectural differences between Linux and OS X.

I see this done in bootloader, not the OSX.
