Title: Horrible sound quality

well i had just finished installing ipc on my dell insperon 1520 when i realialized my sound driver was missing i downloaded the voodoo hda sound driver installed it and then when i played a sound there was SO MUCH static is there a fix for this?

forgot to metion im running osx 10.5.6
