Heyya,
I have experienced some weird stuff with my Chameleon boot loader:
\
memory allocation error (0xdeadbeef, 0x00)
My configuration: Dell Latitude D630, BIOS A14, 4096 MB DDR2-800 RAM, 128 GB Samsung RBX SSD Drive,
Nvidia Quadro Mobile NVS135, Mac OS X 10.5.7 (9j44 - can grant access) updated from iDeneb 1.4
This happens only with chameleon 2 RC1, the older Chameleons work...
Does anyone have an idea

I've been having the same error and it's driving me nuts!
I tried installing SL using various methods with the Chameleon 2.0 bootloader, and tried the new RC3 version too... I keep getting memory allocation errors. In one forum it suggested bad RAM, but I have 10.5.8 running EFI with chameleon and no problems, so it seems odd that this would be the case.
Could it be there is a BIOS setting I'm overlooking? I've wasted 3 CDs and get the same problem with my USB drive, so I have a hard time thinking it was a bad disc. Any help would be appreciated PLEASE!!!
TIA
Moeb

I think it may be a partition table/filesystem related issue.
Can you guys dump your partition tables please?

Same error here on my Lenovo S10e. But only if "Lenovo Quickstart" (Splashtop) is aktivated in BIOS... Any ideas?
