Title: voodooPowerMini v1.2.7 Gives Kernel Panic
Post by: Zythyr on July 17, 2010, 05:56:57 AM
I have an MSI U123 netbook with a vanilla install method, please see this link: http://www.insanelywind.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2733

I am currently running SL 10.6.0

I used this voodooPowerMini v1.2.4 (http://insanelywind.com/forum/download/file.php?id=909) into the EFI partition and everything worked smoothly. source (http://insanelywind.com/wiki/index.php/Kext_Downloads). Just to let you know, I am using NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and Disabler.kext to accompany voodooPowerMini.

But when I installed voodooPowerMini 1.2.7 into the EFI partition and I got a kernel panic.

I used the debug version of voodooPowerMini but not really sure how to extract the kerenl panic info.
