I have been playing with the font_small and font_console. This quick theme show some modelling on text.

I did have a fatter typeface for the font_console which helped with readability but it was just too wide for the menu and got truncated by the width of the box? so this one just uses a more condensed face. I will do further testing when I get time and see what I can come up with.

EDIT
I use 1680x1050 but when I designed this my setup only allowed Chameleon to see 1280x1024, so my files are squashed to 1280x1024 and the booter stretches them to fit, so I am not sure how it will look at other resolutions.
