Title: AppleJack or something similair
Post by: Lord Anubis on April 09, 2010, 07:47:28 PM
Hello,

Will it hurt when I install and use AppleJack?

I have a problem, that I will try to figure out myself, and want to use Applejack or something similair.

Is there something similar, or has someone a project like this?

Note: Applejack allows you to repair drives/partitions and system privileges after booting in single user mode.

Applejack is great but it only works on 10.5.x - don't install it if you're using Snow Leopard.

"Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner" has a 'single user-mode script' that you can install. I use this app sometimes  but I've never tried ´running that script. Take a look at it and see if it's something you can use.

Hola LA,

Ditto for Aj/10.5 only, you may try Onyx/Maintenance (http://www.titanium.free.fr/index_us.html) among a gazillion of other utils
