This is not a Chameleon issue, and you should still be able to boot with those USB errors.

Your disk is corrupted, boot into Single User mode (boot with -s) and run fsck as prompted on the screen.

Once you get the filesystem corruption issue out of the way you can try setting USBBusFix=y in /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist.

i have ran fsck a few times, it works fine with a boot disk, but not with chameleon. i have edited the com.apple as you said but no luck. this is an AMD rig... stickys were no help

Your working boot disc most likely uses Chameleon. That means that Chameleon works.

Therefore it must be a configuration issue.

You need to replicate the configuration of your working boot CD to your hard drive Chameleon installation.

Look inside the ram disk image on the boot CD for kernel extensions, and in smbios.plist and com.apple.Boot.plist to find what you're missing.
