Title: Chameleon 2.0 RC2 Problem
Post by: thunderclap82 on August 12, 2009, 04:13:09 AM
I had Chameleon 2.0 RC1 working with my Core i7 OS X 10.5.8 system.  Everything was booting fine, and then I installed RC2.  Now when the computer boots it hangs on the OS X boot screen.  I tried booting in Safe Mode but that didn't help.  Any suggestions how to resolve this problem without re-installing OS X?

After several hours of trying to resolve the problem I gave up and decided to just start from scratch.  Perusing the forums it looks like it's an installer issue, and while I can't confirm this it was after trying to install RC2 with the installer that my troubles started.

How is the best way of upgrading to RC2 through the terminal?  I'm new to UNIX and the Mac Terminal.  The instructions I've found state that: "This assumes your install is on /dev/disk0s1" and then goes on to give instructions using "/dev/rdisk0" and "of=/dev/rdisk0s2".  It's a little confusing and I don't want to mess up my drive again.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: Please disregard the previous request.  I figured it out.
