Title: Few Queries Regarding 2.0-RC2
Post by: timmyj on July 26, 2009, 04:50:40 AM
alright i've been using chameleon 2.0 for a while now and its a great piece of software
now i know the purpose (i think) of boot0/boot1h/boot/chain0/cdboot

i was wondering what these other files do:

boot1f32
boot1he
boot1hp

just curious i suppose if they add any useful additional features or something

I would also like to know what these files are for???? When I am installing RC2 to a EFI partition, do i just use the normal boot1h?

boot1hp/boot1he are debug version of boot1h.
boot1f32 is the FAT32 stage1 loader for FAT32 or standard EFI system partitions, however updating the boot sector is a bit tricky since the FAT boot sector also contains the BPB of the filesystem.

For more info, inspect the sources and the installer package.
