Here's my latest theme, an attempt at a 3D look. Enjoy :)
EDIT
I use 1680x1050 but when I designed this my setup only allowed Chameleon to see 1280x1024, so my files are squashed to 1280x1024 and the booter stretches them to fit, so I am not sure how it will look at other resolutions.
EDIT 2
I have now attached the original sized background and device icons for 1680x1050 as this theme was originally designed for, without them squashed.

*thumbs up* ;)

Very nice - now my active theme - thanks!

Thanks for the feedback.
It's hard to know what users want, whether a clean authentic look such as the excellent boot camp theme on here, or just something completely different like this. :)

Dude that is frakin' awesome! Thanks

:) is there a way you can modify it for my lenovo ?
i know it's a big job

WOW that's really a very nice theme :D. I tried it, but because my screen resolution is 1280x1024, the background picture is cut in half... Could you make a 1280x1024 theme please? Thanks ;)

Wow, This is a good response! It's good to hear my work is being appreciated. :)
Resize requests: Yes this can be done - Have a look at my 'Resizing Themes' post.

I have a modified theme for you in the 'Resizing Themes' topic if you would like to try it.

Windows04, Can you try changing the screen_width and screen_height keys in the theme.plist to read 1280 and 1024 respectively? See if that works for you. If not, is there any chance of you showing me a picture of it displaying incorrectly?

Ha funny, i just done that before i saw this ;). Jeah it works now :D. The screen_width was set on 1024 and the screen_height on 768 so that only half of the image background was being shown at boot up ;). But anyway thanks, I use the theme now and it's really nice to have some 3D effect :D

Windows04, good to hear you got it working and thanks for letting me know. ;D
-
fine and good as always ;)
-
Cheers Revan. Have you got another theme in the pipeline? ;)
-
unfortunatly not in the moment, my new job keeps my busy so i have no time right now.

still my favorite!

Thanks. It's always good to hear that the themes are being used. :)

Any way to use a dark grey Apple logo instead of the Chameleon Bootloader picture?
-
You can change any of the graphics to what you want. In this case i think you want to change the boot.png. Replace the attached file with the one in the theme folder (either Default or Blackosx_3D, whatever you have it called) in /Extra/Themes/

Oops, my bad. I meant the graphic that says Chameleon Bootloader on it. Thanks anyway.

i'm new to mac themeing and this might sound stupid. but how do i change themes o_O

Hi dyl3dd
These themes can be added to the /Extra/Themes folder when using the Chameleon bootloader. Hopefully you will find your answers in this post (http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,996.0.html).
