Title: 2 Drives with versions of OSX -- Chameleon Boot Screen Locks
Post by: jemiller1963 on June 15, 2011, 04:18:17 AM
Hi all,

I have Kalyway 10.5.2 installed on an AMD system that's been running fine for awhile.  I decided to try out SL and installed on a separate drive using GeekNizer's instructions (http://geeknizer.com/install-snow-leopard-on-amd/) that installed with no problem.  But when I rebooted to the Chameleon boot screen, it locks up.  I use the Kalyway disk now to boot into my original install which is still working fine.

Both Leopard and Snow have Chameleon installed via the installer

Here is the list of disks. Volta is USB attached backup:

Here is the com.apple.boot.plist for Leopard:

I checked all of the guides and I'm sure I'm over looking something.  Any help would be appreciated!
