Title: NVIDIA 460TI-448 Support
Post by: atomic903 on December 12, 2011, 12:12:43 AM
Hi Folks,

got that nice new 460ti-448 Palit Graphics card. Added it's id 0x108710de to nvidia.c (on Chameleon trunk, 1723) so it is displayed correctly in system info, but as it seems it is not known to the underlying nvidia drivers, it doesn't work fully, yet. (no QE/CI, only one of my DVI connected monitors detected)

Is there any chance to get this beast running?

The cards chip is mainly a GTX 570 with only 448 Cores enabled (GF110 GPU)

This is how Lion currently sees the card:

Moved, not related to Chameleon.

You can request for the device ID to be added to GraphicsEnabler at the Voodoo Projects forge but as you say making it actually work is up to the drivers themselves.
Try adding the device ID to the range supported by GF100Hal.kext.
