Title: No internal speakers on sigmatel STAC9228 (Inspiron 1420)

I have internal mic, mic jack and boths headphones jacks working. But i cannot get internal speakers to work.

Any suggestion?

This also happen on XPS M1330 same STAC9228.

As we found before default initialization (or pin config) leads to no sound on speakers, and maybe also no working Mic (internal), external Mic works.


STAC9228 needs pin config override of some nodes

Version 0.2.2 dind't worked also. Boths mics stopped working.

Yes, internal speakers are not working..

Have exactly this problem on Dell M1330, using Stac9228, h/phone jacks OK, no internal spkrs.
re Macgirl's comments - re pin configs etc does anyone know how to get dump/ modify these ?, seems to be pin configs may be the problem
