Title: Different name from "Volume label"
Post by: macgirl on April 21, 2009, 12:53:47 AM
To present bootable volumes like "Windows XP" where the disk has it is labeled as "DiskC" or what ever, and Ubuntu instead of "Linux".

Guys,

how about a config entry like "Volume Label" in the following format:

"hd(x,y):Alt volname 1" "hd(i,j):Unix powa"

The only drawback using the hd(x,y) scheme is the booter uses the BIOS drive order.
