On Hide Partition
I'm unclear as to adding a second hd.
I see the syntax as hd(0,1) for the first one
and [hd(m,n)] for the second. notice the brackets around the hd(m,n).
is this correct? or should it be
hd(0,1) hd(0,2)
Thanks aforehand

I don't know about the brackets (hiding multiple drives and partitions) but you've got the syntax wrong, it's hd(drive, partition).

A dude?? replace the "0,2" w/common names if you so wish, I just put the real numbers in to advertise.
I would think the brackets are needed?
thanks

Whatever, just trying to help. It wasn't clear to me from your wording if you were aware of that.
While waiting for someone to post about the brackets why don't you try it yourself in the meantime.
The worst thing that can happen is that the drive/partition doesn't get hidden.

thanks G.V.
I will wait for that one.
I have some problems with getting the Chameleon installed in the EFI partition are you familiar with this procedure?

If you make a Chameleon boot CD that can boot your configuration (there's a guide around here on how to do that as well), you can freely experiment with your Chameleon installation without having to worry about not being able to boot.

Thank you G.V
this is very helpful.
