Title: synapticsconfigload kills trackpad and stuck key after wake from sleep
Post by: infodroid on April 21, 2009, 04:30:36 PM
I'm testing VoodooPS2Controller on a Dell Mini 9.

Keyboard and trackpad are working fine, multifingerscroll, scrollzones, two finger click... but as soon as synapticsconfigload is started  the trackpad stops working. I've disabled the LaunchAgent so at least the trackpad works but this way I can't change any settings.

Another issue I've discovered from time to time is that after wake from sleep I have a stuck key with a repeating sound like pressing and holding backspace in a terminal. After pressing any key it goes away.

Is there a resolution for this?  It happens on the Dell Studio 1340 (Studio XPS 13) too.

I confirm the stuck key is annoying.

Someone on the forum found the fix applied to appleps2 kext in mydellmini forum

We have to find how to transpose this to voodoo driver.

Can the dev team integrate the fix to the driver ???? please :) :) :)

Its for all mini 9 users ;à)

But does it work with your Compaq Mini? Ive just installed and rebooted but scrolling down with two fingers doesnt seem to work like it does with a Macbook.  It does not work at all with 10.5.5
