Hi, i checked with someone on IRC, and it looks like there's no GRUB2 support in Chameleon.
Could you implement that? I guess with the new Ubuntu 9.10 relying on it, there will be quite a lot of people who would like to be able to continue to use Chameleon, as their first bootloader ... one little incentive: GRUB2 now supports OSX, too - the challenge is on ;)

Actually, I'm running the Ubuntu 9.10 beta, and so far grub2 is working fine, I have no problems booting into it from chameleon, or vice versa

This has been answered many times, you need to have grub(2) installed on the partition (sdXn) not the disk (sdX).

Could you maybe paste the GRUB2 entry you use to load chameleon with...? Can't really get it to work.
Kabyl, I searched the forum here. Couldn't really find any info about GRUB2 other then this thread. So could you please point me to where it's been discussed before? Cheers.

Sorry, i do have grub installed on a partition, not in the MBR - i just upgraded my old grub(1) to grub2, same disk, same partition - but still it doesn't work. downgrading to grub(1) fixed it, though.

I got chameleon to load from grub2. See the posts in this thread.
