I seem to have two chameleons!
« on: October 10, 2010, 10:16:23 PM »
Hi everyone, my first post here I hope someone can help me.
Up to now I have had osx 10.6.4 on one hard drive and windows7 32bit and windows 64bit on another along with a DATA partition.
I have just been changing the sata cable to boot osx or windows.
I have now connected them both at the same time hoping Chameleon would let me multiboot.
It almost works, Chameleon (V2rc4) gives me the choice of OSX, Win7 32bit, Win7 64bit and DATA.
OSX boots, DATA for some reason gives me the bootloader for windows (32bit and 64bit) but choosing either of the others results in BOOTMGR missing.
So I tried setting the windows hard drive as the first boot device in the bios and adding an entry for OSX using easy bcd.
If I select this from the menu I get a different chameleon boot screen (also V2rc4) but this will not boot OSX.
I would really like to use Chameleon but would like individual entries for 32bit and 64bit Win7.
Any ideas, I'm sorry but I installed Chameleon from a loader and have no knowledge as to how it works.
Mike

Boot into OS X with both drives connected, run Terminal.app, type diskutil list and post the output here.
