CPU Detection

Hello,

I have an AMD Athlon II X2 215 and I would like for About This Mac to show that but it shows as a Core 2 Duo instead. I know about the SMBios cputype but I don't know what to put in there.

IORegistry Explorer shows the CPU ID as 0x97b7c00

Your CPU appears as an Intel Core 2 Duo for compatibility reasons.
If it was a quad core AMD CPU it would appear as a quad core Intel Xeon.
